Rocky Mountain District Hispanic Ministry
It's not something we do...it's who we are
Our work with hispanic communities within the RMD is of the highest importance! We strive every day to support ministry efforts that key in on reaching the hispanic population with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goals for supporting this ministry projects are as follows:
- Educate and inform congregations and their leaders about hispanic people living in Rocky Mountain District who need to hear the gospel. This coming year at our annual church workers conference in Breckenridge we plan to have a sectional devoted to education for our pastors and teachers on caring for hispanic communities and making sure they feel at home in our churches.
- Encourage and support congregational leaders in preparing their members to serve and care for hispanic people and provide and welcome to new hispanic members.
- Provide congregations with resources and support to aid them in their outreach efforts.
- Our new website (that's you're reading this on) is fully translatable into Spanish to make learning about the District and attaining resources easier and worry free.
