SOAR Seminar for active adults will be held February 10, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2100 Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, Colo.    The theme is Enhancing One’s Quality of Life. Our keynote speaker is Pastor Drew Ross who will speak to us about Delivering Dignity to the Homeless Community, a ministry at Bethlehem in Lakewood.   This outreach ministry provides a meal and worship service at Bethlehem and also showers with its mobile shower trailer.  Following Pastor Ross,  Jolene Webb-Hammond will share wisdom and knowledge on back and neck pain. Next Virginia Ortiz from Mile High Ministries will describe some of the issues surrounding their ministry to the homeless.  Entertainment as a brass quintet will be provided by Golden Brass from the University of Northern Colorado.    Details regarding fees and a schedule for the day are available by calling Harriet Oehlkers (303-619-7839) or Stan Moeller (303-665-4289).  Registration packets were mailed in early January to individuals who have recently attended one of our seminars or gatherings.  In addition, there is an opportunity to register a friend at no charge if he or she has not attended a previous SOAR event.
